Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy - We are pleased to introduce you to Daisy, lover of snuggling on the sofa and playing at the park. Daisy began her time with us when she was rescued in the middle of the night injured and literally tied to another injured dog on Navigation Street in the East End. The volunteers who found her had to come to a stop as the dogs were in the road and unable to move. A little vetting, a meal and some TLC later and we discovered a real gem in Daisy.

She loves other dogs, shows little interest in the cat at her foster home cat and enjoys lots of petting and toys. She is currently the only dog in her foster home but lots of trips to the dog park have shown that she knows no strangers. Daisy is about a year old and about 55 lbs. She is spayed and is current on her vaccinations. We are looking for a permanent home to give her a long, happy life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Houston Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
