Langley's Story...
What a snuggle-bunny this boy is! ! Handsome & super sweet blue-eyed lynx point siamese, about 3 yr old, found as a stray in southern VA and ended up in high kill shelter. Langley will sit on your lap for the longest time. He purrs while being brushed and entertains himself by tossing a toy mouse in the air and pouncing after it. Sit at your computer and he rubs his face into you hands as they are attempting to type so that you will pet him, or stands in your lap, purring in your face. Langley loves to snuggle up close at night and generally be around his "people" whatever you are doing. He is fine with some cats (but tends to be dominant) & would likely be OK with a dog. His purr-fect home might be one where he is "king" and someone is home most of the day. He is gentle enough for young children, too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Langley, a Arlington Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
