I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
This is Crystal. She's shy, but friendly. Crystal and several other cats of various ages were dumped at a cemetery. We aren't sure exactly what their story is. But we believe that they either belonged to someone elderly who passed and who's next of kin couldn't deal with the responsibility and abandoned them. Or, they were the smallest victims of a foreclosure and their owners didn't know what else to do. We have seen both scenarios more times than we'd like to remember. This sweet bunch of cats was found hunkered down at a gazebo at the cemetery by a rescuer's friend, and were just begging to be held, loved, and saved. It was apparent that before whatever tragedy befell them, that they were loved and well taken care of. They were so desperate to be rescued that the lady who rounded them up found one of them that had been missed under her truck. The poor baby had hung on all the way to her house. One of the poor darlings was lost to heart failure. But the others are warm and safe, and looking for their forever homes.
If you would like to open up your home and your heart to any of our Cemetery Rescues, please contact Laura Schindler at (937)270-5260. Please text her. All of our cats and kittens are kept current on shots, wormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered if they weren't when we took them in. You will have a 3 week health guarantee and a 2 week satisfaction or refund guarantee; although we think you'll fall in love and never want to let them go. We encourage all adopters to take into consideration that most cats do better when they have a companion.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).
We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)
