Jeffrey's Story...
This handsome guy is Jeffrey! Jeffrey is...well, we're not entirely sure. We believe him to be a mix of greyhound and boxer. Jeffrey is about 7 years old and seems to be a pretty mellow guy. Well unless he has his toys! He loves to play and has many many years ahead of him. As you can see by his video, he is extremely friendly and outgoing.  Just wants to be loved and have fun.  A wonderful all around dog. And he walks great on a leash, he is a good boy! Jeffrey weighs in at about 50 pounds and is just so unique and handsome. He is currently living in a foster home with 3 other dogs and he gets along well with them. We always advise people to bring their dog to meet Jeffrey. This can be arranged either at the foster home or the shelter. Once your application has been filled out and approved, we will work on a time for you to meet him at his foster home in Ottawa.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeffrey, a Marseilles Greyhound/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound/Boxer for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a Greyhound/Boxer dog from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound/Boxer breeders who help with Greyhound/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
