Shadow-Courtesy Post's Story...
COURTESY POSTING:

This is Shadow. He showed up on the doorstep of a friend of 2 of our volunteers. He's a very sweet boy, but he's a little scared in his new environment. He loves the cats, but is terrified of the dog. Shadow is super cuddly and loves snuggling in bed at night. His saviors think he may be about 5 years old. Shadow is declawed, so he is staying inside with them and their own pets. They love him, but because of his fear of their large dog, they cannot keep him. Won't you please give this adorable, cuddly kitty a forever home of his own?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow-Courtesy Post, a Fairborn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
