11/2/14: Simply Amazing
Arianna continues to beat the amazing odds that were stacked against her when she arrived into our Rescue program. The necessary medical checkups that monitor her health have become part of the routine and the results are still in her favor.
However, we cannot disregard the possibility that another medical issue will occur which could possibly require costly treatment. Any potential adopter would have to understand that the future cost of medical care could be high.
In the meantime, NBR will provide Arianna with whatever she needs for as long as she is happy which we hope will be a long long time.
This girl’s life before rescue was horrible. Thanks to the care of her foster parents and your support (monetarily and with prayers) Arianna remains content and in high spirits.
08/15/13: Arianna is Truly a Miracle Girl
We wanted to give you a brief update on Arianna. We cannot believe a year has passed since we first saw the sad and pathetic girl who came into our Rescue program.
Arianna now does the boxer wiggle and everyone swears she even smiles...especially when she gets her belly and butt scratched. This angel is no longer 20 pounds under weight. She is now 72 pounds (about 5 pound over goal weight). The once quiet boxer who would barely whimper and never bark, now barks at everything including the door bells heard from the television.
Arianna is a good girl in the house, especially when she is being watched. However, she has kleptomaniac tendencies; slippers, tights and any cards or paper left on the foster family's piano bench are her addictions. She often sneaks in the bedroom to steal her foster dad's slipper, and looks over her shoulder to see if she was going to get caught. She then quietly walks back to her bed in the living room to snuggle and drool on the prize. Arianna is sweet and loving and keeps her foster mom and dad laughing.
