Odie's Story...
Odie is an awesome dog! He's house trained, and although he's not a big fan of the crate he will go in eventually. He's calm for such a young dog and gets along great with cats and other dogs. He's shy around really small children and will hide from them, so he's better off in a home with no kids or older kids.

He's incredibly sweet, loves to snuggle, doesn't shed and never barks. No really, he never barks! Odie is a great dog and will make a wonderful companion. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $95.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odie, a San Antonio Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
