Tigger's Story...
Tigger is just a big teddy bear that loves people and other animals. When he's excited his whole body waggles with joy and he is a total sweetheart. He is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along GREAT with other dogs and he LOVES cats, as evidenced in the above picture.

He is about a year and a half old and is neutered, up to date on all shots, and micro-chipped. He would love to be in a home with other dogs and cats, as he gets lonely all by himself. He's good with kids but due to his size he is probably better suited to a home with older kids, but he sure does love everyone!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a San Antonio Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
