Blue's Story...
Looking for that perfect young Lab to entertain your whole family? Come meet ME ... I just might be the guy for you!

My name is Blue and I am SO MUCH FUN. I'm about eight months old, and right now, my favorite game is fetch. I will chase tennis balls and bring them back to you for as long as you'd like. And being a smart young guy, I'd love to learn more stuff. The volunteers here at SCAC are teaching me the proper way to walk on my leash so that I'll have a head start when you adopt me.

If you enjoy the Lab personality, come meet me. Bring the family and I'll demonstrate how we can play together and entertain each other. (Ask for # A031637.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Springfield Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
