Scarlet's Story...
Scarlet is a gentle soul. She is a sweet submissive girl with a beautiful red coat. AZ Furry Friends rescued her from the county animal shelter. She was placed on the E list because of being fearful. Once she was out of their and in a home environment she came out of her shell. Scarlet absolutely loves to be next to you. She is a big lover. She is crate trained but needs some more work because she will whine when she first gets into the crate. She walks decent on a leash. She doesn't pull but she will criss cross in front of you. She is eager to please so we feel she will be easy to train. All she wants in the world is someone to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlet, a Phoenix Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
