Jake was born on 11/14/11, so he is a little over a year old. He weighs about 8 pounds. Jake came to CRT with his 2 year old mother, Jessie, when his family had to move away for a new job. He has beautiful dark brown fur with lighter brown markings and soulful brown eyes. Jake is full of energy and loves to play with his mom, Jessie, as well as his dogglie foster siblings and human foster family. He loves attention and snuggles.

Jake is working on leash training. He uses the dog door to go outside for personal business, as well as exploring and squirrel watching. He seems really excited to be able to go in and out when he wants. Jake and his mother spent their first few months of life as outside dogs, living under a plastic tub with a heat lamp to keep warm. Jake loves the people in his foster family, as well as the dogs. We are not sure about cats. If you would like to be part of his new life, please contact CRT. Jake is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could you be his perfect home?
