Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you love an underbite? Do you like a dog that always looks like she's smiling? Do you like little kisses? That's our Lucie! Lucie is about a year old and weighs about 10 pounds. She is very playful and very intelligent and learns after only one or two repetitions. She likes to play with other dogs but is afraid of dogs bigger than she is. She is in a foster home with other dogs and two cats and is a little bit too enthusiastic for kitties. She is a puppy herself and has a tendency to get into things and so she still needs supervision. She kennels well if she gets a small treat and toy to keep her company. Lucie loves little tennis balls that squeak and will squeak them repeatedly just for the noise. She is very submissive to people and loves to be petted and hugged and touches you with her front foot to get attention (she's a south paw). She hasn't been around children but we would guess she would enjoy the activity if they are gentle. Lucie is a happy girl and tries very hard to understand what is expected of her so that she can receive praise or a treat. Lucie was rescued from a high kill shelter and so little is known about her previous life but she seems to be well adjusted and ready for adventure. Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com or call 503-857-5047 if you would like Lucie to be a part of your family.
