Chantilly's Info...
| Breed: | Pit Bull Terrier/Dalmatian Mix | Color: | White - With Black | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Female |
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Chantilly, actually called Tilly for short, is a very sweet girl who loves everyone and everything! She was in a high kill shelter with not much hope for the future when she was pulled at the last minute!!! And what a great save! Tilly is very eager to learn and to please! She loves to play with other dogs but can play a tad bit rough so probably a comparable size dog or bigger would be a good choice! She is crate trained and walks pretty well on a lead but she can pull as well! She is only about 45 pounds and full of love!!! I would say she has a medium energy level and would love an active family who could give her lots of playtime and together time!! Please consider making Tilly a part of your family!!!

Rescue Group Info...
Welcome Friends! The Animal Center ("The Center") is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals. Our goal is to help end companion animal homelessness and prevent cruelty to animals in Newtown and the broader Connecticut community by providing services that foster the bond between humans and animals. We also pull many dogs from high kill shelters in Georgia. We are a foster only organization so in order to visit any dog, an appointment must be made.
The Animal Center runs its rescue programs entirely through a volunteer foster network. We do not have a shelter. This means we don't have a central location where all our adoptable animals are kept, nor do we have viewing "hours" because our adoptable animals are in the safety and comfort of private homes, not in a shelter facility.
To adopt, please fill out our adoption form on the website for the animal you're interested in. When we receive your form, our volunteers will contact you to set up a day and time that works for you to meet the cat or dog you're interested in.
Adoption Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, microchipping and deworming. Adoption fee varies dog to dog staring around $250 for an adult dog and $350 for a puppy.
