M'Lynn in San Antonio's Story...
I am a 9 year old blue/fawn female weighing in at all of ten pounds; petite and sweet is what we call it! Everyone says I am just adorable…hmmm, I think I agree!!!!!

My favorite times of the day are breakfast and dinner. I will let you know just how much these two meals mean to me, in no uncertain terms! Years of dental neglect left me without a single tooth, but I eat without any problems and my foster Mom says toothlessness adds to my charm!

When I first came into Rescue I had my spay, a non-cancerous cyst removed, a belly-button hernia repaired, and knee surgery to fix a ‘slippery’ kneecap. Although the doc says my knee is all healed up and I am no longer in pain, I do still tend to hold my back leg up sometimes. My past life of puppy-makin’ left me a little neglected, but these great people here in Rescue have been so nice and have been taking great care of me!

My potty skills are dead on with the use of a supervised pet door, otherwise reminders are still occasionally needed by my foster parents. I sleep in my crate each night like a champ and crating when foster mom runs errands is all good. As a matter of fact…I am one of the first ones to get in my crate when asked.

The first half of my life wasn’t the greatest, but those crummy days are long gone, and I am lovin’ the good life now. I can’t wait to meet you and melt you heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

M'Lynn in San Antonio, a Argyle Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Argyle, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Argyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Argyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Argyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Argyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
