My story

Austin

Violet is a 6 year old, 14.5#, biggie blue lady. She has long lovely legs and such an elegant pose when she sits. Violet is shy but very curious. She makes her rounds to inspect the goings-on inside the house, but all of this is a little unfamiliar to her since she is used to living outdoors. She is learning about furniture, snuggly blankies, fluffy dog beds, and wonderful soft human laps. Her favorite place so far is the kitchen!

Violet wags her tail sweetly and will crouch to let you pick her up, but we are very hopeful that she soon will be coming up and ASKING to be loved and petted. Right now she is eager to give kisses to the ends of your finger tips if you reach your hand to her. She gets along well with small dogs and cats-she’s actually been caught sound asleep all snuggled up with the kitty! She is crate trained and we are working on house-training. The concept of holding it until you are outdoors is a little hard to figure out when you haven’t had to do that before, but she is super smart and already starting to get the hang of it.

Violet is fully vetted and will be available for adoption soon. We are very hopeful that her social diva will emerge soon!
