Mario's Story...
Super Mario was given up by his family due to lack of time. Sadly, he spent much of his time crated and was segregated to another part of the house through the night. Perhaps he rebelled by not being clean in the house but since coming to Kiko and being able to go out several times a day, we are happy to say that he has learned to do his business outside. Just a young fellow, Mario was born in March 2012 and is as handsome a Miniature Pinscher as you will ever meet. Mario is lively, happy and enjoys playing with other little dogs. Unlike a typical Min Pin, Mario is not a big barker at all and could be suitable for an apartment as long as he gets enough exercise and attention. We would love to find Mario a home where he is not left alone again for extended periods of time. He is very sociable and loves being around people and other dogs.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($250 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mario, a Rigaud Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
