Bogart's Story...
If you're looking to shed a few pounds with a walking partner, look no further - Bogart is looking for you too! Bogart was adopted out by Kiko in 2010 but his caregiver became ill and could no longer take care of him. This lively terrier mix was born in February 2007 but has the energy and spunk of a dog half his age. He adores going for walks in all weather and in the summer, loves going for a dip in the pool. Bogart has packed on the pounds since we last saw him but his ideal weight should be about 35 pounds. He is not fond of larger dogs and would do best in a house rather than an apartment. Bogart is a bit of an adventurer and will make a run for it if he sees an open door or gate. Bogart is a wonderfully delightful terrier who will make an awesome forever companion for someone looking for a medium-sized dog.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($275 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogart, a Rigaud Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
