Pop's Story...
The Rice Krispies gang is here. This is Snap, Crackle, and Pop. They were found living in the woods. They are extremely friendly and love people. They are still a little bit scared around other dogs but are warming up quickly. We are not sure how they are with cats. Since they are strays and we have not seen them around children we can not say how they are with them. The 2 black ones are Snap and Crackle, both boys and they are about 8 months old. The brown one is their mother Pop. She is around 2 years old. The 2 boys have never been on a leash until they arrived at the shelter. They were very scared of it at first but are getting used to it. We think they may be a chow border collie mix, maybe some shepherd in there. They would love to find a new home where they don't have to live in the cold and worry about where their next meal comes from. Their shots have been updated but they still need to be spayed/neutered. The fee for the males is $150 and the female is $165.

Here at H.C.A.S. we are looking to find good homes for our animals. All animals coming from the shelter are up to date on all shots, health checked by a vet, and spayed/neutered.

We are located in New Cumberland W.V. We try to go to Petsmart in Robison Pa. every weekend with adoptable dogs, provided we have enough volunteers. We also have adoptable cats that are housed at Petsmart.

Pre-adoption form, contract. Fees start at $155.00 for females and $140.00 for males. We accept cash, check, and charge.
