Rina's Story...
This a Rina. She is a gorgeous brown tabby longhair. Young (probably less than 1 year old), very petite and very much a lady. She is a great companion cat and is very sweet and affectionate. She is quiet and trouble-free. Just the sort of cat to keep you company while you read or watch TV. She was found by someone in a hotel parking lot and brought to us. Lord knows why anyone would have abandoned this lovely cat.

Rina's adoption fee is $75. All of our cats and kittens get their yearly shots, spayed/neutered, and will be microchipped. They have a 3 week health guarantee and a 2 week refund. Adopting kittens is pairs is encouraged because most cats do better with a companion. There is a discount for adopting in pairs. To inquire about Rina or any of our other great kitties, please contact Elizabeth Fitzhugh at (937)271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net We are at the Pet Supplies Plus on Stroop Rd. in Kettering most Saturdays from 1-6 with many of our adoptable kittens if you'd like to come in and meet them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rina, a Fairborn Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
