My name is Molly and I am a very sweet, black, 2 1/2 year old, smaller, medium sized cocker girl with a long tail. I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a shelter here in NC. When I could not be placed for adoption, the shelter asked for rescue help and I was taken in by an organization where I was safe, but then they put out a post asking for another rescue to take me because I had tested heartworm positive and they did not have the funds to get me well. CCR stepped in and arranged tranport to bring me here to rescue where I am safe until I can be adopted. CCR raised the money awhile back to get my heartworm treatment done, and I did well with my 6 week recovery period.
Now I am looking forward to a new forever home again. Being here in rescue is ok, but I would love to find a home of my own and someone to love me again. I will need to be adopted to a home where I am the only dog. And I need to find a home with a securely fenced yard and a 5 to 6 ft. fence. I will also do best with supervised outdoor time, as I am a quick girl if I find a way out. I am now micro-chipped by CCR to find my way home, so if you adopt me and keep my information current, I will always find my way back to you. Please give me the 2nd chance that I deserve to have a loving home and a great rest of my life. I am a nice girl and I would really love to meet you! Maybe I am your new best friend!!
