Pichard's Story...
***I'M LOCATED IN ***
Covington, Louisiana

Hi my name is Pichard and I'm looking for my forever family!

Pichard and his 3 litter mates were surrendered to the shelter when they were only 2 weeks old. Needing constant care and attention, they were put into a foster home. They have been in a foster home for 5 weeks, and are very social and partially house trained. They've come a long way from the weak and helpless pups we saw carried through our doors in a shoebox not too long ago. Pichard would make a great family dog, and companion for another lonely pup in your home....just waiting to liven up with a new pup in the family!

Transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pichard, a Groton Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
