I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
My name is Quincy and I am the most handsome big boy! I am considered "special needs" because I came into contact with an FIP cat (Feline infectious peritonitis) That does not mean I will ever have the disease, but as a result I should be an only cat or adopted with my foster sibling, Camille. My coat though black at first, is now turning a soft smoke color in some areas, especially on my tail and may possibly be a Turkish Angora mix. I came to Miss Kitty's after being found outside and alone. I am approximately 8 months old and fit in quite nicely with my foster family, which includes a large, gentle dog. I especially enjoy playing in the sink with a dribble of water! I am very talkative and playful and demand "in your face" attention! I am now ready to find my forever home! For more information on me or my sister, please call Elizabeth at (928) 848-9509.

Rescue Group Info...
Miss Kitty's Cat House is a small non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption facility, solely operated by volunteers and donations. Miss Kitty's is located in a small house at 302 N Alarcon Street in Prescott, Arizona, where approximately 20 adult cats live and play until they are adopted, with a waiting list for cats to come in when there are vacancies. The cats roam free in the house and are cared for by a variety of dedicated volunteers. We also have other adult cats and kittens in foster homes in the Prescott area. The number varies from 50 to 75, depending upon how many fosters are available. We shelter cats of all ages and backgrounds. We have cats whose humans have either passed away or are otherwise unable to care for them, rescued cats who were born feral and who have been socialized, or formerly abandoned or abused pets.
We have open house for adoptions on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the cat's house at 302 N. Alarcon Street, on the NW corner of Alarcon and Sheldon Streets in Prescott, AZ. The rest of the week we are open by appointment only. Please call us at 928-445-5411 to come to our cat house and visit with our friends. This is a great place to meet and greet the cats on neutral ground, play as long as you like, and get to know your future family member. Miss Kitty's Cat House also has cats and kittens available for adoption at PetSmart in Prescott (Next to Costco) on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We also partner with PetSmart in Adopt-A-Thons several times a year.
The cats and kittens in our program have all been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and checked for good health (feline leukemia and FIV). The adoption fee is $85 for kittens, cats 1-5 yrs is $75, and cats over 5 yrs $65 (a small price for the endless companionship of a feline friend!) We have a senior citizen discount program as well as discounts for special cats in our care. Adopters must sign an adoption agreement regarding the care and treatment of their new feline
