found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Carson is a little love bug and will make someone a wonderful little buddy. The optimum home for Carson would be a home without very young children and perhaps as the only pet. Carson is a bit shy of new people and new places. With a little patience, he does warm up quickly. Once he knows someone and feels safe, he is active and happy and loves to get attention and be petted. Our only concern about young children is that we think that if he were to be approached quickly like very young children can, that would probably scare him and children are typically not happy with a dog that runs away from them. A secure home would be best, as if he was frightened, he might dart out of an open door and run. Carson has been around cats and dogs and most of the time he does fine with them. While he does not fight with other dogs, he does want to be the boss and has a dominant side to him and he can play a little rough. Carson is doggie door trained and knows to potty outside. For training purposes, when he comes into the house, he is confined to one room and does not have run of the entire house. Under these circumstances, he does not potty in the house. While we would believe that he is mostly housetrained, he might need a little time and patience to adjust to his new surroundings and settle in. Carson is not an excessive barker. About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please contact the dog's foster listed above. There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet at one of our adoption events - typically held on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ (Ray Rd & I-10). Not every pet is at every event so please contact us first to find out when and where you can meet the pet you are interested in. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
