Romeo's Story...
Romeo is happiest when he has a dog buddy to play with. He has a blast at the dog park and loves romping around in the back yard with a friend. He's about a year old and spent the first seven months of his life alone in a boarding kennel. As you can imagine, he was a lonesome pup with time on his hands. He's now a beautiful adult dog, thriving in a FOR foster home. We are looking for a loving human companion for him who also has a dog friend for him to play with. Romeo is about 50 pounds and well trained. He's crate trained and enjoys quiet time in his crate. He's 100% house trained and also walks well on leash. He'd be a super running or jogging buddy. To learn more about him, meet him, and receive an application - please email INFO@FORrescue.net

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
