Kona's Story...
Meet Kona! She has had a rough start to life. She unfortunately spent her first 3 years out in the yard alone with no love or play with her. She is starved for attention... loves to give kisses and lay her head in your lap for pets. She does not know what a toy is or how to play. She wants to learn and please her human. She is potty trained and crate trained ( if needed), she will sleep in a crate through the night. From what we can tell, she is fine with kids and should be ok with male dogs once she is spayed. She is a small dark chocolate lab weighing about 35 to 40 pounds and would be a good size for an apartment. If you love labs and can provide the love and attention that Kona craves, please consider this sweet girl. Kona is located in Knoxville TN

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kona, a Chattanooga Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
