Kona's Story...
Meet Kona! She has had a rough start to life. She unfortunately spent her first 3 years out in the yard alone with no love or play with her. She is starved for attention... loves to give kisses and lay her head in your lap for pets. She does not know what a toy is or how to play. She wants to learn and please her human. She is potty trained and crate trained ( if needed), she will sleep in a crate through the night. From what we can tell, she is fine with kids and should be ok with male dogs once she is spayed. She is a small dark chocolate lab weighing about 35 to 40 pounds and would be a good size for an apartment. If you love labs and can provide the love and attention that Kona craves, please consider this sweet girl. Kona is located in Knoxville TN

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small,non profit, all volunteer organization that has been dedicating our spare time to save Southern dogs in need for over 7 years. We are located in Knoxville TN. Our goal is to reduce the number of dogs in the "high kill" overpopulated shelters in our region and find them permanent loving homes. We are not breed specific, but are committed to the breeds and mixes that tend to be overly abundant in the southern states. We adopt to both local families and families in the Northeast.We place most of our orphans in homes in the northeast by offering USDA certified transport services.

Application and Contract required
All pets recieve required vaccines, heartworm testing if age appropriate, deworming, microchip and are spayed/ neutered.
Tennessee adoptions are $250
Northeast adoptions include required health certificate and transport to area for $450. Some states require 2-5 day quarantine for additional fee set forth by our quarantine facility and range from $75-$100.
