Big Adoption Event at Whole Foods, 4301 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland OR, Feb. 9th from 11am to 3pm. Hello my name is Mc Tavish. I'm about 3 years old and have just moved to Oregon to make a fresh start. I've never met a stranger in my life and I'm just fine with other dogs. I am a relaxed guy with a sunny disposition. I LOVE to play ball! I do have a limp from an old injury that doesn't slow me down one bit. Some of my skills include excellent cuddling and I'm a great listener. My foster mom says I am a gentlmen! House trained and easy. If you need a new best friend see about me today!

I have been neutered, micro-chipped, had my rabies, bordatella and distemper/parvo vaccines as well as been de-wormed and flea medication applied. I also come with a free vet visit with Mt. Tabor Vet Care!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McTavish, a Portland Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Dandie Dinmont Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Dandie Dinmont Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Dandie Dinmont Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Dandie Dinmont Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Dandie Dinmont Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
