Rivannah's Story...
Rivannah is an eight year old black lab/chow mix. She has been a loved and faithful companion to her owner all of her life, but he has had a change of circumstances and needs to find her a new home. She is spayed and current on her shots. Rivannah is housetrained; she loves to play catch and swim. She has had some leash aggression issues so she would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Rivannah would prefer to be an only pet. Rivannah has been working with a trainer to get her ready to go to a new home and the trainer is available to answer any questions or help with the transition. Please consider adopting this loyal girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rivannah, a Richmond Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
