Gem's Story...
Meet this little Gem! Here is what Gem's foster mom has to say about her:

GEM- She got my attention because she looks like the White German Shepherd pup in BOLT. She's such a wonderful dog and is coming out of her shell as she's been in my home. She is 5 years old, a stray from the Devore shelter in California. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, micro chipped and is very healthy. She would absolutely love to be your little princess. At 5-6 lbs she's a little thing so she doesn't take up much room. She's goofy and enjoys playing in the water bowl, running around outside, and playing with the other dogs in the house. She's the perfect little tv dog as she loves to just sleep next to you or find a spot on couch and lay down while you are doing things. She would make someone a wonderful companion! She is spayed, up to date on all shots, and is healthy. Please email rescuinganimals@gmail.com for an application! Adoption fee is $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gem, a Snohomish Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Snohomish, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Snohomish.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snohomish already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snohomish breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snohomish paves the way for another one to be saved.
