Ollie was wandering loose and brought home by some pro-active East Siders. He’s a gorgeous Collie mix who has a wonderful calm personality. He’s getting acclimated to indoor life with 2 other dogs in his foster home and doing well. He’s good with young children too! Ollie is Heartworm positive and will receive treatment while under East CAN’s care. He’s about 5 years old and ready for his forever home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Nashville Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
