Bruce's Story...
Bruce is a super nice yellow Lab boy. We believe this sweet lad is around 3-4 yrs old. He has an outgoing, friendly, playful personality...just what you expect from this wonderful breed! Bruce loves to run and play...nothing gives him greater joy than to be outside with his people in the yard. He loves other dogs both large and small but would probably do better with dogs his size and energy level. Bruce loves kids but because he is still a youngster himself and learning manners he would do best with kids 7 and older. And speaking of manners we think Bruce would be an outstanding student in obedience class as he's anxious to please and already knows how to sit. He will need a family who can provide him with and follow through with training classes. He's a great size Lab weighing around 65 lbs. He's crate trained and will sleep quietly in his crate at night. Bruce has an easygoing personality and is a doggie who enjoys life but he would love to spend the rest of his life with a loving caring family. Could you be the one for him?

Bruce has been vaccinated, dewormed, and neutered. He has received flea and heartworm preventative and has been treated for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Spring Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Spring, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
