Rocky's Story...
Meet Rocky! This is adorable and affectionate little dog is looking for a forever home. Between 3 and 4 years old, Rocky is charming his way into everyone’s hearts at TRI. He is easily one of the most personable and unique dogs to come to the Inn. And, while we’re thrilled to have him, this boy needs a forever home to call his own.

Rocky loves everyone that he meets, including most other dogs. So, he would probably be willing to share his new home with a canine brother or sister. And he gets so excited about going for walks that he can barely wait to get leashed up. But we understand that it’s hard to keep all of that energy contained. He just loves life so much! Rocky will make a great companion – as he’s always game for a walk, ride in the car, playtime in the yard, or cuddling on the couch. What more can you ask for?

If you’re looking for a little dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, consider giving Rocky his forever home. You can contact his adoption consultant, Sue, at 216-2889735 or suepopham@roadrunner.com for more information. Rocky can’t wait to meet you!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
The Rescue Inn, Inc. ("TRI") is an Ohio non-profit, foster-based rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.

We are run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about our four-legged friends. Our mission is to save dogs from high kill shelters and abuse/neglect situations and place those animals into loving and permanent homes. We promote responsible animal ownership and provide medical treatment, foster care and training to unwanted, abandoned, lost or surrendered animals.

Our animals are spayed/neutered, receive appropriate veterinary care and are placed into a safe, secure foster home while waiting for their permanent home. We also strive to work with other area shelters and rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to enhance our rescue mission.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a North Olmsted Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
