Pedro's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Pedro's Story...
Pedro is a ten year old brown and black male Chihuahua and weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces. He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines and recent dental. He has chronic allergies and needs to be bathed twice a week with Ketoseb dog shampoo. He was surrendered because his owner could no longer afford to care for him. He is very shy and is slow to warm up to new situations and people and nervous around men. He is very loving when he gets to know you. He does get along with other dogs. He is looking for a forever home with no young children. He sleeps in crate and cuddles on your lap. Pedro needs a family who is compassionate and supportive while he is adjusting to his new home. He loves to go outside and is mostly potty trained. His adoption fee is $150. For more information on Pedro, please email his foster Mom in Roy, WA at or

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are preapproved. Adoption application with references checked & a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pedro, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
