Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Jamie! Everyone who gets to know her and her gentle, friendly demeanor says, "What a great dog!" Her foster mom agrees and if you meet Jamie, you will too.
Jamie is 25 pounds and about six-years old. She has a sleek, soft tri-color coat. She is spayed, current on all shots and house trained. She uses a doggie door but would probably be fine without one as she seemed to know the rules of the house right away.
Jamie gets along with all her doggie housemates and is comfortable with children. She has not been around cats at this home, but her foster mom suspects that she would probably leave them alone after the initial curiosity about them wore off. She loves to take long naps snuggled up on the sofa or in her doggie bed, but she's not just a couch potato. She's also a great walking companion. She is able to maintain a vigorous stride without pulling. Like all beagles, she follows her nose and loves to explore the yard, tromping through the leaves, and chasing squirrels. She doesn't bark or bay except when people ring the doorbell. She would do just fine with a doggie companion but would probably be okay as a much-loved only dog. Please fill out an application today to meet this sweet-tempered girl.
