Vessi is another statistic but we are hoping she will get a 2nd chance and add to the happy ending stats as well. Dumped at the vet office, she is a little scared but sweet as pie. She is good with kids and is fosterd with a toddler, her foster mom says she LOVES to cuddle on the couch. She is only about 10 lbs and will be the best little dog you ever had! ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Complete Adoption Application and fax to 305-247-9127 or email adopt@thisisthedog.com

2. Meet with the dog or cat and bring treats

3. Complete Adoption Contract

4. Adoption Donation $75 for cats, $200 for puppies under 6 months and $150 for dogs over 6 months Adoption donation for dogs includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Microchip, Deworming, and Heartworm Check if needed. Adoption donation for cats/kittens includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Deworming, FeLV/FIV testing

5. Thank you! This is the Dog! does not have a shelter. Our dogs and cats are in boarding and in foster homes primarily in Homestead, FL. We are a small group of volunteers. It is worth the drive South from Miami or North from the Keys to find your canine or feline companion. This Is The Dog! (or Cat!) for you!
