malcom's Story...
update--Malcome has picked his own foster mom, he is pictured here with Lily, also up for adoption. Update- this guy is doing great. Using puppy pads and wants to play with other dogs. Submissive to a tea cup he is fostered with right now. These little boy was caught yesterday and had his first human touch. Last night he got his first shots and a bath, had his ears cleaned and nails cut. His life so far has not been great but i think he will start to want to cuddle with us shortly more than his sister Koala.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

malcom, a Fort Valley Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Fort Valley, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Fort Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
