Mandy's Story...
This is Mandy, the low-rider starter b. She appears to be half basenji, half dachshund. She is almost constantly moving, so this pic was grabbed through a wet window when she was caught standing still! She is very tiny - about 16 pounds - so her new home will have to understand that tall, towering humans can be scary until she gets to know them. She has the basenji vocals that make many owners envious.

About Our Rescue Group...
Breed specific rescue (Basenji, both purebred and some mixes). All rescues are spayed/neutered and will have full health exam and temperment testing done prior to placement and all rescues will have DNA testing for the marker for Fanconi syndrome. Have very small network of foster homes that are experienced with the breed and with dogs with various issues.
