Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is 7 1/2, spayed and full of loving need. She came without ever having had any real stimulation having spent the first part of her life as a mom. She was afraid everything outside her crate. Her foster parents were so afraid she might never progress to being a full on golden. BUT buried deep inside this wonderful, smiling girl was the heart and instincts of a golden. She has learned going up and down steps, running outside, carrying toys, the joy of eating good food and lots of it, treeing squirrels with her foster sisters, retrieving, the beginnings of walking on a lead-and most of all being a snuggle bunny. The last most of all.
She still is quite skittish, and will need a home with a confident dog, who can show her what it is like to truly enjoy life. She has been in a house with 3-5 other dogs and has had no issues with them. She has met a toddler and was fine.
Maggie appears to have probably been a shy puppy, lacking in confidence. She will need a dog savvy owner (s) who are willing to continue the process of help her blossom with a great deal of patience and love. This will be rewarded with the sweetest girl one could ever meet. She has come such a long way in the seven weeks. It is really remarkable to watch a breeder dog's personality unfold and grow in the sunlight of love.
Maggie is a joyful girl, smiling, and enjoying her new life with her foster family. But she is looking for that perfect forever family she can call all her own. If you think can be that family, she is waiting and so wanting to meet you.
