Cheech's Story...
Meet Cheech! He is a 7 yr old collie mix. He is friendly, but will need to "pick" his new person. He can sit, lay down, shake, and speak! He was an outside dog but has adjusted very well to being inside--he hasn't had any "accidents" in his kennel :-) Cheech is very friendly once he knows you and will "lean" against you to make it easier to pet him :-) He also thinks he is a lap dog!!!

If you are interested in Cheech or have any questions, please contact Tri-County.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheech, a Shippenville Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Shippenville, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Shippenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shippenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shippenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shippenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
