Sabrina's Story...
Sabrina is about 1.5 yrs old and about 39 lbs. She loves other dogs and the dog park. She doesn't have a mean bone in her. She loves kids as well, she has always been around kids. She does have seizures, which are are pretty well controlled with her medicine and she only has a phenebarb level test every six months now. When she isn't playing with my foster brother or the other dogs, she likes to snuggle up by her people and get as much love as she can. She is never very far when you leave the room either, she will go anywhere you go if you will allow her. Very loyal and loving.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabrina, a Youngstown American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Youngstown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
