Murphey's Story...
Meet Murphey! This sweet little toy chihuahua was found wandering a dark country road one morning and was lucky to have been found before the coyotes had him for breakfast. He weighs 6 lbs and is the perfect little lap dog. He doesnt really seem to know what to do with toys...but he does enjoy the company of the others dogs at his foster home. He especially likes to be held or to cuddle up with you. Murphey doesnt bark at much of anything and has a very sweet temperament. He is still working on not marking in the house, but that should be remedied as soon as he is neutered. He sleeps through the night in his crate and enjoys riding in the car.Murphey is very content having someone hold him and spoil him all day long. If you are interested in this precious little guy, please let us know. Murphey is located in Knoxville, TN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphey, a Chattanooga Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
