Murphey's Story...
Meet Murphey! This sweet little toy chihuahua was found wandering a dark country road one morning and was lucky to have been found before the coyotes had him for breakfast. He weighs 6 lbs and is the perfect little lap dog. He doesnt really seem to know what to do with toys...but he does enjoy the company of the others dogs at his foster home. He especially likes to be held or to cuddle up with you. Murphey doesnt bark at much of anything and has a very sweet temperament. He is still working on not marking in the house, but that should be remedied as soon as he is neutered. He sleeps through the night in his crate and enjoys riding in the car.Murphey is very content having someone hold him and spoil him all day long. About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small,non profit, all volunteer organization that has been dedicating our spare time to save Southern dogs in need for over 7 years. We are located in Knoxville TN. Our goal is to reduce the number of dogs in the "high kill" overpopulated shelters in our region and find them permanent loving homes. We are not breed specific, but are committed to the breeds and mixes that tend to be overly abundant in the southern states. We adopt to both local families and families in the Northeast.We place most of our orphans in homes in the northeast by offering USDA certified transport services.

Application and Contract required
All pets recieve required vaccines, heartworm testing if age appropriate, deworming, microchip and are spayed/ neutered.
Tennessee adoptions are $250
Northeast adoptions include required health certificate and transport to area for $450. Some states require 2-5 day quarantine for additional fee set forth by our quarantine facility and range from $75-$100.
