Ralph's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ralph's Story...
Ralph is part of a litter 14 puppies that were living outside in a nice man's yard in the 5th. They all had ringworm, but have been receiving treatment and that has all cleared up now. He is most likely a Lab/Shar Pei blend just like his brothers Josh, Drake, and Stevie. He is 18 lbs and approximately 5 months old (02/2013) right now and we think he will be about 40 lbs.

Ralph is a great family pet. He loves kids, cats and other dogs. He would be happy in a family setting especially with another companion pet to play with. He is crate trained and housebroken (he can hold it during the day). Very playful and would do well with training. He is very sweet and will enjoys laying in your lap. He is getting neutered 2/14/2013, so afterward he will be ready to go to his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralph, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
