Winnie's Story...
Beautiful Winnie is estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old. She was rescued from a local shelter where she had been picked up as a stray that went unclaimed. She was in a very neglected state when we got her, thin, filthy, matted and required eye surgery to correct a cherry eye and entropion. She is a sweetheart that wants nothing more than to be with her people and give and get love! She may be a little hard of hearing, but since she'll be your velcro dog, that shouldn't be an issue. She rides great in the car, is fully housetrained, and enjoys playing with other large dogs. If you are interested in adopting this furkid, please fill out and submit an adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
