Max's Story...
Max here!! I'm a sweet, affectionate 18-pound Bichon/Lhasa mix born around July 2009 who is looking for a family to call my own. I'm a really good boy and my foster mom keeps saying I'm such an easy dog (whatever that means!). I go outside to do my "business," sleep in a crate at night or when I'm alone, and I just love being near my person. My favourite game is playing with a ball and it's so much fun to run after it and bring it back. I also enjoy car rides or just walking outside. I get along well with my foster mom's little dog and sometimes we even play. I love it here but I need to move on to my forever family where I can spend the rest of my life. Can you find room in your home and heart for a little dog like me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Rigaud Bichon Frise/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Lhasa Apso for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
