Jersey's Story...
Hi,my name is Jersey and I have lived outside my whole life and so I am a bit nervous of things I don't know.I love to snuggle and I really want a new home that will pamper me and take me for long walks or hikes.I need to go to some obedience classes as part of my adoption. The staff at the shelter say that the classes will help me feel better about myself and the world around me. Do you have another dog that I can live with? That would be really neat to have another canine companion in my new home. If you would like to meet me, please ask the nice people in customer service to help you with an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jersey, a Bellingham Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
