Hogan's Story...
Why Choose me?
Hogan looks too cute to be true, but he’s here in the flesh at Animal Control. Make no mistake though, Hogan is not a foofy lap dog, he’s a terrier through and through. When we walked up to his kennel door, he was at attention and rarin’ to go. As soon as he got in the interaction pen he had to sniff every square inch before he was ready for his photo shoot. Once he was done with his nose work though, he was perfectly happy to sit in our laps. He’s a little guy in a loud and scary place, but he doesn’t seem concerned about it. Hogan is in good shape, so he probably just got lost. If his owners can’t find him though, this little blondie is waiting for you!

Act quickly to adopt Hogan. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hogan, a Athens Norfolk Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norfolk Terrier for sale in Athens, or seeking a Norfolk Terrier dog from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norfolk Terrier breeders who help with Norfolk Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
