Polka Dot's Story...
DOB July 30, 2012. What a character Polka Dot is. He entertains everyone with his silly antics and playful nature. He often walks around the house with a toy ball in his mouth or spends his time chasing dust flecks in the air.

Wherever he is and whatever is around him he can turn it into a game. Polka Dot is a happy boy who doesn’t appear to have a care in the world. When he is done with all of his playing, he also loves attention and will curl up in his foster mom’s lap to sleep while she watches TV. He rolls on his back for a belly rub and is fine to be picked up and cuddled. He has a cute little meow he makes when he wants attention. Polka Dot is a sweet boy with a gentle soul and a playful nature.

He was rescued from outside along with his mom (Amber) and his siblings (who have all been adopted). It is Polka Dot’s turn to find his forever family. Polka Dot is Feline Leukemia Positive. Despite having the virus he is currently in good health, but most likely the Feline Leukemia virus could cause complications down the road. However, for now he is a engaging, stunning boy who deserves a proper chance to have a forever home. Although he does get along with other cats, he can only go to a home with other cats if they are also Feline Leukemia positive, as it is a contagious virus to cats only. He lives with big dogs and a child and he is fine with all of them. Polka Dot is a real show stopper and is guaranteed to make you fall in love with him.

In hopes of finding Polka Dot his purr-fect family, we are waiving our standard adoption fee of $175 for a donation of your choice.

About Our Rescue Group...
Toronto Cat Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, 100% volunteer group. TCR helps find homes for homeless, abandoned, sick or injured cats, as well as helps cats escape situations of abuse, neglect, or imminent euthanasia. TCR relies on volunteers to foster cats in their homes until a cat lover comes along to adopt them, so we know the cats personalities in a home setting! TCR saves cats from Toronto, GTA & Kitchener area.
Our Adoption Process...
Decided on the kitty you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message) or email: tcr.adoptions@gmail.com for a pre-adoption interview.

An adoption coordinator will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

Next you will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your kitty home with you (in a safe carrying case).

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It also includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
