Danny's Story...
Danny-Lab/Boxer male, Jan. 2013

Danny was left in the drop box at a high kill rural shelter. He was so scared, it took a couple weeks of coaxing to get the 'true Danny' to show himself. Once he started trusting the Staff, there was no stopping the love, hugs and kisses that Danny wanted to share with everyone. He's a young dog, about 1 1/2 years old, a good sized boy, 40# or so. Danny will bring
alot of joy into your life...just let him show you! His adoption fee is $250 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a Germantown Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
