Ava is an adorable little girl looking for a new forever home. She has a beautiful reddish brown coat, with some white wisdom highlights. And she has gorgeous brown eyes that will melt your heart.
Ava has a very laid back personality. She really bonds with her human, and enjoys being around them. She also doesnt mind being by herself and doesn't demand alot of attention.. Ava enjoys snuggling in her favorite blankets and bed, and will lay next to your chair and watch TV with you. She is not pushy at all - she waits for her turn to be loved! She greets her human when she comes home and begs for you to acknowledge her.
Ava is very smart, and can do little tricks. She will beg for a treat. She will also beg for your attention! She adores it when her human pays attention to her. She is totally housebroken and also pee pad trained. Ava does need someone that knows how to carry a chihuahua safely as she likes to be held on occasion but not for long periods of time and will jump out of your arms very quickly when she's ready to get down. This is the main reason for wanting to place her in an adult only home.
Ava is a "young" 10 years old. She is healthy and should have many years ahead of her (many Chihuahuas live to be 16-18 years old!). We believe that because of her laid back personality, she would do best in a quiet, relaxed home environment. She is quiet, and is apartment appropriate.
Ava is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption fee required.
