Miranda's Story...
Miranda was found on the coldest day of the year shivering outside on a stranger's deck. The home owner did not want a cat so we were called to help. Miranda is a beautiful flame point mix, either long haired Siamese or Ragdoll. She is very loving, wanting to be with you all the time. She appears to be a young adult, under 2 yrs. old. She is good with people & other animals. Since we have had Miranda, she has gained a lot of weight, which she needed. The first picture of Miranda shows her on her back, looking up at you. This is one of her favorite poses.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health & welfare of companion animals. We are a NO KILL rescue group. Spay/Neuter, public education regarding animal health care & reducing pet overpopulation with resultant euthanizias are our top priorities. We are a soley volunteer operation and rely on our adoption fees and public donations to care for our animals until they find permanent homes. We do not have a shelter for the cats, but rely on "foster" homes for their care & socialization until they are adopted. WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING HOMES FOR FOSTERING BABY KITTENS AND ADULTS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miranda, a Jeffersonville RagaMuffin cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a RagaMuffin for sale in Jeffersonville, or seeking a RagaMuffin cat from a breeder in Jeffersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jeffersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jeffersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even RagaMuffin breeders who help with RagaMuffin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jeffersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
